Vodka Gimlet
Vodka Gimlet is an open cardigan with simple embellishment and a narrow, delicate shawl collar. I wanted something with a loose, casual look, but the illusion of being a bit more tailored. A beautiful slipped stitch detail creates a flattering “waist” on the open sweater, and is echoed on the collar and hem. A short length allows for a belt or loose shirt to show beneath. Vodka Gimlet is knit seamlessly from the top down. Collar is picked up and knit on finished body.

Yarn: The Plucky Knitter Primo Worsted (75% Merino wool, 20% cashmere, 5% nylon; 200yds/183m per 4.06oz/115g skein). Sample knit in Barely Birch.
If substituting, choose a worsted weight yarn in a solid, semi solid, heather or tweed in a wool or wool blend fiber. I suggest a merino cashmere mix for similar weight and drape to the sample.
