Cassis
Cassis is a cozy cardigan that’s easy to customize as you like. The reversible collar can be folded back or draped inward and looks great either way. The casual shape can be pinned closed or worn open, and the length is easy to adjust. Simple lace on the front and back makes a flattering line and adds a little interest. Pattern is written for both long or short lengths, long and short sleeves, and either worsted or aran weight yarn. Sweater is knit from the top down with minimal shaping and no seaming.

Yarn: Worsted weight or Aran weight, to meet gauge as specified.
Gauge and Needles:
Worsted weight, on US 7/4.5mm needles = 5 sts x 7 rows/rnds per 1”
Aran weight, on US 8/5.0mm needles = 4 sts x 6 rows/rnds per 1”
Gauge based on finished, stockinette fabric.

Based on actual finished width of sweater at bust, I suggest choosing the size that allows for 6-8”/15.25-20.5cm of positive ease, based on your bust.

Add 200-300yds/185-275m for longer sleeves.
Subtract 225-325yds/205-300m for shorter length.
Aran version with short length, long sleeves:

Add 150-250yds/140-230m for longer length.
