Ommegang

$8.00

Ommegang is an asymmetric cabled tunic. It features graduated cables for a mix of delicate curves and textures on one side, keeping to soft twists and rounded edges. The panel contrasts with the smooth stockinette of the other side of the tunic, which keeps the sweater from being too busy and gives you a break while knitting around.

The pattern is written with instructions for a turtleneck like mine, a longer turtleneck, or a cowl. The sweater is knit seamlessly from the bottom up, so modifications for width and length are easily made.

Yarn: Bare Naked Wool Stone Soup DK (300yds/274m per 4oz/115g skein). Stone Soup is a blend of 11 fibers, and the resulting wool is soft and light and tweedy.  Sample shown in Marble. If substituting, you want a heavy DK or worsted weight wool that will knit to gauge and show off the cables. As sweater is long, nothing too heavy or it will grow with wear.
