Mi Amaro

$7.00

Mi Amaro features a bold color and elegant lines, worked in a beautiful twisted cable motif from Norah Gaughan’s latest Twisted Cable book. I’d been eyeing this stitch pattern for a while, but it took me a bit to figure out how I wanted to play with the crown shaping. It’s the distinct curves within the cable pattern that I think make this such a special cable texture, and the crown on this hat is designed specifically to show that off.

I chose a beautifully vibrant hand dyed wool for the pattern, and the subtle shifts in color really highlight the cable pattern when the hat stretches around a head. Plus, this deep cranberry shade really makes a lovely statement piece on a cold day.
