Another Bourbon

As soon as I put my skein of YOTH’s new Father on the needles, I knew it had to be cables.

And this color was quickly snatched by my husband, so I figured it was high time for Another Bourbon. He wears all three of the original manhats from my previous One Bourbon, One Scotch, and One Beer collection - so I think a new hat in the rotation will be much appreciated.

I love a bold cable in a masculine color on a guy. This pattern features distinct cables all around, some interesting lines at the crown and YOTH’s stunning domestic Rambouillet yarn.

It knits up in no time and would make a great gift!

The two smaller sizes can be knit with just one skein, so it’s a great excuse to give this new yarn a try. You will need to dip into a second skein to finish the larger size, but that’s just an excuse for some extra yarn for another hat in a small size, right?

Yarn: YOTH/Yarn on the House Father, heavy worsted weight yarn (100% Domestic Rambouillet Wool, 220 yds/201m per 3.53oz/100g skein).

If substituting:

Gauge: 24 sts/28 rounds per 4”/10cm in ribbing on smaller needles and in cable pattern on larger needles.

Needles: US#6/4mm and #7/4.5mm
