Agave

$7.00

For the last snows of winter, Agave is a quick, cozy hat that celebrates dense cables and thick yarn. It’s simple and satisfying and can be done in plenty of time to wear as February turns into March.

Knit in a fresh, pale green or a deep, complex gray, the lines of these cables are bold and distinct, but still have a lovely softness to them. Agave feels classic, but also modern - and a bit different from your average cabled hat. Look closely and you can see I had a little fun with the design at both brim and crown.

If substituting yarn, I suggest using one without much variegation in color or fiber, so the detail will show. A soft, round wool with a little memory works best. Swatch in cable pattern to be sure you understand the cable, you know your gauge, and you like your fabric.
